World Vision: Building a better world for children

World vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to helping children, families, and their countries worldwide. The organization allows you, for only $35 a month ($1.12 a day), sponcer a child. World Vision serves all people reguardless of race, ethnicity, gender, or religion. They spread the word of Jesus Christ by serving alongside the poor and oppressed as a demonstration of God’s unconditional love for all people. They serve earthquake and hurricane survivors, abandoned and exploited children, survivors of famine and civil war, refugees, and children and families devasted by AIDS in Africa, Asia, and Latin American. They serve close to 100 million people in nearly 100 countries around the world. World Vision also helps with education, health care, economic and agricultural development, emergency relief efforts. Its donors sponcer more than 3 million children. World Vision was founded by the Rev. Bob Pierce. The current President and CEO is Ken Jenkins.
